Juliana Rivelli, soprano has been performing throughout America, and internationally, for 10+ years. Originally from Smithfield, Rhode Island, she began classical, jazz, musical theater, and other CCM voice studies at the age of 9 years old.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education at The College of Saint Rose, and her Master of Music in Classical Voice Pedagogy at Shenandoah University. She was the Graduate Assistant in The Janette E. Ogg Voice Research Center, alongside Dr. David Meyer and Dr. Matthew Edwards.
Juliana has worked in other voice studios, such as The European Academy of Arts in Chantilly, Virginia, as well as operating her own private voice studio, Rivelli Voice Studio.
Her teaching experience includes positions within the Fall River, Smithfield, and Pawtucket School Districts, as well as student teaching placements at Stillwater Elementary and Guilderland High School in New York. She has worked with students of all ages, fostering growth through individualized instruction, technical refinement, and a deep appreciation for the art of singing.
Some of her notable credits include Frances Norcross in the opera, Sisters Show Me Eternity, performing in France and Ireland with the international award winning College of Saint Rose Chamber Choir, and a featured soloist at the Proctor's Theater in Schenectady, New York on Patti Lupone's tour, "Don't Monkey With Broadway."
She presented her first research study, The Relationship Between Singers and Speech Language Pathologists: a Survey at the ASHA Convention in New Orleans in November 2023.
She has studied and coached with voice instructors, educators, and musical artists such as Natalie Conte, Dr. Suna Gunther, Dr. Michael Lister, Dr. Michael Levi, Annelisse Von Goerken, Paul Patinka, and Dr. Susan Boddie.
Beyond her accomplishments in performance and education, Juliana has immersed herself in the nonprofit arts and event management sectors, coordinating exhibitions, performances, and community events while overseeing operations for multiple art galleries. Her work reflects a strong foundation in arts administration, event planning, and community engagement, along with a creative and solutions-driven approach that has earned her the nickname “a Juliana of All Trades.”
